Protecting What Matters Most Through Life's Uncertainties

Understanding Your Journey
Insurance can feel overwhelming. With complex policies, industry jargon, and countless options, it's natural to feel uncertain about where to turn. But protecting your family, your business, or your career isn't just about policies – it's about peace of mind. Having helped Australian families navigate life's challenges for over 35 years, I understand that what you're really seeking is confidence in your future, whatever it may hold.
Who We Help
General Advice
General financial advice provides information or opinions about financial products or strategies without considering your personal objectives, financial situation, or needs.
This type of advice is designed to educate and inform, helping you better understand financial concepts, market options, and potential strategies.
While general advice can be useful for building knowledge and exploring possibilities, it does not assess whether a particular product, level of cover that you choose or strategy is right for you.
Because it is not tailored, you should always consider seeking personal advice before making significant financial decisions. General advice aims to guide your thinking, but the responsibility for determining its suitability remains with you.
Fee
Fees for General advice may be much lower than Personal advice as they do not incorporate the preparation of a fact find and an advice document called a Statement of Advice
Minimum fee for providing General advice is $ 500 + G.S.T. which may be negotiated in certain circumstances
Personal Advice
Personal financial advice is tailored specifically to your individual circumstances, goals, and financial situation.
Personal Advice is not offered by Simon Croxton or Moore Simmons
When providing personal advice, time is taken to understand your income, assets, debts, risk tolerance, lifestyle needs, and long-term objectives.
This detailed understanding allows a Financial Planner to recommend strategies and products that are appropriate for you and designed to improve your financial wellbeing.
Personal advice may include guidance on investments, superannuation, insurance, retirement planning, budgeting, or wealth-protection strategies, always considering what best suits your unique needs.
Because it is tailored, personal advice requires a higher duty of care, ensuring recommendations are suitable and in your best interests.
Fee
Fees for Personal advice incorporate the preparation of a Fact Find and an advice document called a Statement of Advice
Fees for personal advice are negotiable with a Financial Panner.
From December 28th 2025
From December 28th 2025, Moore Simmons will provide general advice only. Should you require personal financial advice tailored specifically to your individual circumstances, goals, and financial situation, we can refer you to a trusted colleague.
